From the Board Meeting Aug 2012

New Club Structure: The Board is considering changing the Structure of our club.  We are looking at various options so we can streamline our operation. It has been suggested that we don’t need separate Ladies and Men’s Committees.

We could separate the various responsibilities and have one committee to look after each area.

Possible areas of Responsibility are

President &

Vice President

Secretary

Finance Director (Treasurer)

Greens Director

Social Director – Bar, Social functions, kitchen

Bowls Director – Club fixtures and tournaments, Club Championships, Pennant

Projects Director – Facilities, syllabus, sponsors, publicity

Membership Director - Recruitment Bar assistance Community programs Junior programs Health & Safety

Comments and other possible structures are invited from Club Members.

New Members: We welcome Gavin Lane and Matt Crane as full members and Bill Young as a Social member.

Website: The website is being developed and as the new season progresses we hope to have more content.
