A champion day at Lara

Championships were played at Lara on Sunday with a good crowd in attendance.  Both womens singles and pairs were decided with Sarah Waters winning the singles and Nola Hinch and Jenny Draper taking out the pairs.  The mens singles saw many tight games and lots of upsets in the early rounds.  Further rounds will be played next Sunday with Geoff Thorpe waiting to play the winner of Damian and Bully.  Ben Cotter will meet Rob Smith, Mat Crane plays Greg Supple and Brian Ward comes up against previous winner, Casey Hameka. 

Lara is well known as a friendly family club and keen supporters, Sabrina and Tilly are pictued here enjoying the day.
