Ben Strikes Gold

Lara and Geelong Giants star Ben Cotter struck precious metal at the recent Australian Under 18 Championships held in Darwin.

Representing  Victoria, Ben played third in the Gold Medal winning Four and middle pin in the Triple collecting the Silver medal in that discipline. Bens excellent play was a big contribution in the two wins, and along with his Victorian team mates won the Boys Overall Trophy, the first Championship silverware since 1997. The Victorian Side of 5 Girls and 5 Boys were runner-up to Queensland for the major Combined Trophy, matching last years result.
